Some of the people who would benefit from live in care might be:

• Elderly people for whom daily life would be much easier to have
  someone on hand to help.
• Husband or wife who may need support looking after an ill spouse, or
  someone to take on the daily chores.
• Someone who relies on a full time carer and temporarily the carer is
  out of the frame i.e. hospitalisation.
• When someone who lives alone is discharged from hospital and would
  like the security of someone on hand in the house while they convalesce.
• Someone who is becoming less able to manage on their own at home but
  does not want to have to give up their home and go into residential care.
• People who are lonely and would just like an attentive companion

Live in care is comparable in price to residential care but allows not only
the familiarity of home surroundings to remain but it can also help restore
social life and facilitate activities that have been difficult to manage
without assistance. All this is achieved because a carer provides the
support that is required by that individual. This can include driving
services and assistance so the client can attend church or other social
groups and networks that may have started to become difficult to achieve
without help, right down to cooking cleaning and all aspects of personal
care. We believe that this enables individuals to maintain their
independence, dignity and allows them to continue making decisions about
their day to day activities. 

We like to call the people who use our service our ‘clients’ that way we
talk easily of ‘client care’.

why we spend so long with you, assessing your needs in your own home,
ensuring you get exactly what you need. Every client of ours has an entirely
